RCL was born as a company providing service, maintenance and handling of systems in the paperboard industry, in particular in the field of publishing and packaging. R.C.L. has never tried to manufacture its own machines, thus avoiding the comparison with the major manufacturers in the area; then, a strange request of a customer has given life to a unique and ambitious project: The project of rotogravure machines with a web width variable from 200 to 1100 millimetres.
THE “EXTRA SMALL” ROTOGRAVURE MACHINE
Once upon a time, this could be a simple request, but today the rotogravure machines printing on narrow web are almost a rarity.
In order to fully exploit the constructive advantages due to its size, this rotogravure machine can be used by unskilled personnel and therefore it has to be simple and intuitive, both in the job change and in operation.
